Helpful Links and Information.

LTA DBS Application.

Click below to start your LTA DBS application. Your DBS form will need to be subscribed to the Update Service. The LTA will accept an Enhanced DBS check issued via another organisation if it meets this condition. The LTA will need to screen NON-LTA DBS checks before use; fill in this form to begin this process.

DBS Verification Method.

Tip: When completing your DBS form, you will be asked for a ‘Verification Method’. This defaults to ‘Organisation’, meaning you have selected to use an LTA ID Verifier. Alternatively, you can opt for ‘Post Office’, by clicking ‘Organisation’ and ‘Post Office’. There is an extra cost to use the Post Office as your verification method.

DBS Identification Checks.

Once you have completed your DBS application, you will need to get your ID documents verified from one of the following: 1) LTA ID checker or 2) The main branch of a Post Office (it must be one that has a 'CRB ID Verification Service'). Your application will stay in stage 1 until your documents are verified.

Pin and Secret Word.

For the DBS application you will require a pin and secret word. Click below to find the relevant pin and secret word for your local club or organisation. If there is not one listed, use the LTA Operations Ltd pin and secret word at the end of the list.

Play Test.

The Play Test is an entry requirement for specific coaching qualifications, including the Level 3 certificate. This can be arranged through Growing the Game by emailing info@growingthegame.co.uk. Click below to find out if you need to take the Play Test.
